SEWING-CONSTRUCTION CLASS #2
Fee: $80.00

 This semester is one day a week, for 4 weeks, and you are in class for 90 minutes.

BASIC SEWING & CONSTRUCTION
DAY OF CLASS & THE START DATES
Monday Morning 12:30pm to 2:00pm June 28th July 12th July 19th July 26th
Monday Evening 6:30pm to 8:00pm June 28th July 12th July 19th July 26th
Thursday Morning 12:30pm to 2:00pm July 8th July 15th July 22nd July 29th
Thursday Evening 6:30pm to 8:00pm July 8th July 15th July 22nd July 29th

This course will consist of 4 sessions.
(We strongly recommend taking the Pattern Drafting classes)
Fee: $80.00 for all 4 sessions of classes and each session runs for 90 minutes.

FIRST WEEK SESSION
Introduction of basic machine stitch drills. Demonstration of layout, marking,
and cutting of the fabric pieces used for creation of (4) seams and the watch pocket.
(the first pocket)

SECOND WEEK SESSION
Explanation and demonstration of seam construction

THIRD WEEK SESSION
Completion of seam construction and beginning of watch pocket
marking and construction.

FOURTH WEEK SESSION
Completion of the watch pocket and explanation of the
various uses of seams.

PATTERN-DRAFTING CLASS #2
Fee: $80.00

FIRST WEEK SESSION
Will introduce the foundation of drafting the Basic Skirt pattern.

SECOND WEEK SESSION
Will continue with the drafting of the Basic Skirt pattern.

THIRD WEEK SESSION
The Basic Skirt pattern will be completed. Will introduce the draft
changes needed to create and complete the FLAIR SKIRT

FORTH WEEK SESSION
Will introduce how to layout and cut the pattern from fabric
(seam and hem allowance will be demonstrated and explained.)
