This fall, Master Bespoke Tailor and Designer Eric W. Stiles Sr. will bring his acclaimed fashion workshops to Rock Valley College, beginning with two engaging one-day trial workshops in Sewing/Tailoring and Pattern Making.

Each 2½-hour session is open to all skill levels—no experience needed—and costs just $62.92. All supplies are provided, except for the Sewing/Tailoring workshop, where students must bring a working sewing machine and foot pedal. For the best learning experience, it is strongly recommended to attend both workshops to broaden your skills and techniques.

These hands-on, no-pressure sessions are ideal for anyone interested in making clothes, drafting patterns, or exploring a future in fashion. Just arrive on time, bring your curiosity, enthusiasm, and get ready to learn!

After the workshops,ave the opportunity to enroll in our 3-week hands-on class, beginning January 2026. Open to all skill levels and ages 14 and up, this extended course combines both Sewing/Tailoring and Pattern Making, offering deeper instruction in professional garment construction techniques as you continue to build and advance your skills. Continuing in the course will deepen your knowledge, sharpen your sewing skills, and help you sew with greater precision, all while enjoying a fun, professional, and supportive learning environment. It is highly suggested to attend the Pattern Making with the Sewing workshop to enhance your understanding, technique and skills.

The workshop fee is only $62.92, and all materials are included.

It is highly recommended to attend the Sewing workshop in addition to the Pattern Making workshop to further enhance your understanding, technique, and overall skill development.
