Internationally trained Master Bespoke Tailor Eric W. Stiles Sr., with over 40 years of global experience and advanced training from Brioni in Italy, brings his acclaimed series of hands-on fashion classes to Joliet Junior College.
No prior experience is required, just bring your working sewing machine, foot pedal, navy blue all-purpose thread and a passion to learn. These 2½-hour, immersive, no-pressure classes guide students of all skill levels through Sewing, Tailoring, and Pattern Making, providing rare access to world-class techniques in an intimate, supportive environment.
Whether starting fresh or continuing from a previous session, students learn directly from a Master Bespoke Tailor shaped by mentorship from master craftsmen in Italy, Poland, Asia, Latin America, and the U.S., including advanced bespoke training few designers ever receive.
Add All classes are continuing to this only: Classes meet morning (10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., Room 1007) and evening (6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m., Room 2007), ages 16+, with minimal supplies. Seats are LIMITED—register now or lose your spot and miss the chance to create fashion that’s truly your own!

Each semester and continuing 3-week course is carefully designed to build on the previous semester, introducing new techniques and refining your skills under the expert guidance of a seasoned industry professional. Beginning on October 27, 2025, at Joliet Junior College, these high-demand courses are offered in both afternoon and evening sessions. Early registration is strongly encouraged, as spaces fill quickly. Please bring a working sewing machine and foot pedal to every Sewing and Pattern Making class.
